Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 9.06% or 8.3 points to trade at 99.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 4.91% or 9.6 points to end at 205.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 3.64% or 18.4 points to 524.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 4.52% or 11.0 points to trade at 232.6 at the close. Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 4.35% or 29.60 points to end at 651.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 4.25% or 15.2 points to 342.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 61 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.52% or 11.0 to 232.6.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.23% or 1.26 to $57.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.85% or 1.14 to hit $62.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 3.25 to trade at $1512.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.36% to 6.7421, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4595.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 98.143.
