Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.25% or 2.12 points to trade at 96.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 1.67% or 16.00 points to end at 975.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 0.19% or 1.20 points to 627.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 7.85% or 14.36 points to trade at 168.50 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 5.41% or 42.90 points to end at 750.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 2.57% or 520.00 points to 19,680.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 115 to 45 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.32% or 1.38 to $103.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.18% or 1.26 to hit $105.88 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.49% or 47.63 to trade at $1,864.07 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 7.08, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 103.60.
