Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.55% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 18.36% or 22.4 points to trade at 144.4 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 2.29% or 2.04 points to end at 91.26 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.44% or 1.6 points to 365.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 9.57% or 15.2 points to trade at 143.6 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 8.02% or 35 points to end at 402 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 7.40% or 20.2 points to 252.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 130 to 22 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) fell to 3-years lows; falling 9.57% or 15.2 to 143.6. Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.40% or 20.2 to 252.6.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 8.63% or 2.77 to $29.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 12.02% or 4.07 to hit $29.78 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.84% or 27.85 to trade at $1488.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.6959, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4747.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 98.157.
