Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.07% or 33.0 points to trade at 844.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 3.05% or 3.5 points to end at 118.2 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.43% or 320 points to 22700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 8.89% or 15.9 points to trade at 162.9 at the close. Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) declined 5.96% or 43.50 points to end at 686.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 4.44% or 38.00 points to 817.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 78 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.43% or 320 to 22700.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.00% or 0.76 to $76.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.09% or 0.86 to hit $79.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 12.95 to trade at $1813.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.06% to 6.5867, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 96.233.
