Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.49% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 3.38% or 29.60 points to trade at 904.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 2.41% or 10.10 points to end at 429.40 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 2.17% or 6.00 points to 282.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 6.03% or 21.60 points to trade at 336.80 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 5.45% or 8.02 points to end at 139.10 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 3.70% or 4.55 points to 118.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 42 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 5-year lows; losing 6.03% or 21.60 to 336.80. Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.70% or 4.55 to 118.50.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.11% or 0.99 to $89.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.53% or 0.48 to hit $91.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 9.25 to trade at $1,837.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 7.13, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 106.90.
