Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CSE:DSV), which rose 0.47% or 5.0 points to trade at 1069.0 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) fell 0.47% or 1.0 points to end at 213.5 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.55% or 5.4 points to 973.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 5.38% or 22.3 points to trade at 392.5 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 3.51% or 30.6 points to end at 841.0 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 3.13% or 20 points to 632.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 111 to 31 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.81% or 1.59 to $40.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.20% or 1.38 to hit $41.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 15.60 to trade at $1931.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 6.2664, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4420.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 92.507.
