Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.75% or 475.00 points to trade at 13,125.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) added 3.34% or 12.40 points to end at 383.60 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 3.32% or 410.00 points to 12,750.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 2.62% or 26.00 points to trade at 967.50 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) declined 1.11% or 10.00 points to end at 890.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.92% or 1.90 points to 204.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 61 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.12% or 0.10 to $82.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.16% or 0.14 to hit $86.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.65% or 38.55 to trade at $2,371.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 104.90.
