Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 0.89% or 4.5 points to trade at 509.5 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) fell 0.33% or 0.11 points to end at 33.35 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.34% or 1.1 points to 322.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 6.50% or 29.0 points to trade at 416.9 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.78% or 410 points to end at 8165 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 4.27% or 380 points to 8510.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 32 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.49% or 2.20 to $46.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 4.27% or 2.14 to hit $47.96 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.24% or 16.65 to trade at $1355.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.7075, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4404.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.49% at 96.08.
