Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.15% or 8.0 points to trade at 262.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 1.17% or 3.6 points to end at 310.2 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.05% or 6.2 points to 597.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 4.95% or 10.2 points to trade at 196.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.52% or 8.2 points to end at 318.8 and Genmab (CSE:GEN) was down 2.29% or 27.5 points to 1171.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 51 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.60% or 0.36 to $60.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.65% or 0.43 to hit $66.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 4.25 to trade at $1410.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.6312, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4667.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 96.520.
