Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which rose 3.10% or 18.50 points to trade at 615.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.57% or 300.00 points to end at 11,970.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.53% or 290.00 points to 11,740.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 2.64% or 3.30 points to trade at 121.70 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.04% or 21.00 points to end at 1,007.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 1.92% or 11.00 points to 561.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.62% or 0.50 to $80.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.45% or 0.38 to hit $83.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 18.55 to trade at $2,312.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 105.69.
