Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 0.67% or 2.20 points to trade at 332.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) fell 0.30% or 1.5 points to end at 501.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 0.30% or 1.1 points to 362.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 3.57% or 420 points to trade at 11350 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.25% or 400 points to end at 11890 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 3.03% or 17.0 points to 543.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 40 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.32% or 0.16 to $49.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $55.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.34 to trade at $1326.96 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 6.2231, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.80.
