Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 1.16% or 5.7 points to trade at 496.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 0.87% or 1.1 points to end at 122.0 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.32% or 5.0 points to 1560.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which fell 5.28% or 42.0 points to trade at 754.0 at the close. DSV (CSE:DSV) declined 3.58% or 27.4 points to end at 738.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 3.06% or 254 points to 8050.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 35 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.49% or 1.33 to $52.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.92% or 1.72 to hit $57.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.75% or 11.80 to trade at $1582.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.7746, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4728.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 97.672.
