Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.54% or 510 points to trade at 14925 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 3.19% or 3.4 points to end at 110.0 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 0.41% or 10 points to 2468 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 5.59% or 85.0 points to trade at 1436.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 3.90% or 25.0 points to end at 615.6 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 2.40% or 8.6 points to 350.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 61 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.54% or 510 to 14925.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.34% or 0.70 to $52.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.37% or 0.76 to hit $56.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 6.05 to trade at $1844.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.1158, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4383.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 90.358.
