Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.27% or 2.1 points to trade at 95.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.34% or 0.3 points to end at 103.9 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was up 0.25% or 0.7 points to 286.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.59% or 5.6 points to trade at 210.5 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.25% or 7.7 points to end at 332.9 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.83% or 5.9 points to 315.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 54 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.65% or 0.37 to $57.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.98% or 0.63 to hit $65.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 3.05 to trade at $1399.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.30% to 6.5915, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4662.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 95.988.
