Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 0.55% or 5.4 points to trade at 989.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 0.36% or 2 points to end at 605 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.23% or 1.2 points to 526.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 2.83% or 42.0 points to trade at 1444.5 at the close. DSV (CSE:DSV) declined 2.39% or 18.4 points to end at 751.4 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 2.22% or 2.5 points to 107.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.44% or 1.49 to $62.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.90% or 1.92 to hit $68.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.51% or 23.05 to trade at $1551.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.6904, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4741.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 96.485.
