Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.17% or 575.00 points to trade at 18,730.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.04% or 540.00 points to end at 18,280.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 2.64% or 12.10 points to 469.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.61% or 6.76 points to trade at 95.50 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 6.22% or 11.80 points to end at 177.90 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 5.18% or 51.90 points to 949.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 61 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.50% or 2.46 to $101.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.17% or 2.22 to hit $104.38 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 7.60 to trade at $1,903.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 102.17.
