Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.98% or 3.5 points to trade at 361.3 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 0.41% or 40 points to end at 9720 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.35% or 35 points to 10160 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 3.04% or 7.6 points to trade at 242.5 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.42% or 30.5 points to end at 1230.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.88% or 6.2 points to 323.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.41% or 0.90 to $63.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.13% or 0.76 to hit $66.53 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 16.70 to trade at $1316.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.68% to 6.0858, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4459.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 90.29.
