Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.21%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 1.33% or 3.5 points to trade at 265.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 1.55% or 6.0 points to end at 394.1 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.89% or 9.0 points to 1016.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 7.64% or 1025 points to trade at 12385 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 7.89% or 69.0 points to end at 806.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 4.26% or 54.5 points to 1223.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.33% or 3.5 to 265.9.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.21% or 0.12 to $58.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.20% or 0.12 to hit $61.34 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.30 to trade at $1840.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.1318, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4372.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 90.362.
