Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 0.78% or 2.3 points to trade at 299.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 0.44% or 1.3 points to end at 298.6 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.38% or 4.0 points to 1064.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 7.17% or 18.5 points to trade at 239.6 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 5.27% or 14.7 points to end at 264.1 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was down 4.67% or 7.6 points to 155.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 25 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.27% or 14.7 to 264.1.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 3.76% or 1.81 to $46.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.62% or 2.07 to hit $55.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 9.30 to trade at $1265.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.76% to 6.5143, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4674.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 95.817.
