Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.19% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.88% or 3.0 points to trade at 345.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.43% or 0.8 points to end at 199.4 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 0.34% or 1.30 points to 385.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 5.56% or 34.8 points to trade at 591.2 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 3.97% or 18.2 points to end at 440.5 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 2.11% or 20.8 points to 963.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 41 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.98% or 0.71 to $73.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $77.39 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.60 to trade at $1251.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.4371, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 94.93.
