Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 1.56% or 7.30 points to trade at 475.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 0.91% or 5.60 points to end at 622.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 0.91% or 20.00 points to 2,220.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 5.49% or 47.00 points to trade at 808.40 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 5.12% or 11.30 points to end at 209.20 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 4.63% or 5.10 points to 105.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 59 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.49% or 47.00 to 808.40.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.09% or 1.18 to $109.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.82% or 2.02 to hit $113.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 8.50 to trade at $1,996.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.60% to 6.76, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 98.38.
