Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 10.89% or 10.30 points to trade at 104.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 6.71% or 5.3 points to end at 84.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 5.59% or 366 points to 6918 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 6.22% or 20.9 points to trade at 315.0 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 3.60% or 6.1 points to end at 163.4 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 3.56% or 15.9 points to 432.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 49 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 29.50% or 3.64 to $15.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 6.95% or 1.58 to hit $24.32 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 8.30 to trade at $1713.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.8724, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4586.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 99.800.
