Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 0.43% or 4.00 points to trade at 928.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell 0.05% or 5.00 points to end at 10,885.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 0.28% or 3.00 points to 1,054.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 6.44% or 10.85 points to trade at 157.60 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 5.50% or 22.80 points to end at 391.40 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 2.47% or 13.50 points to 533.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 41 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.28% or 0.23 to $80.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.24% or 0.20 to hit $84.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.75% or 18.15 to trade at $2,438.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 103.81.
