Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 5.13% or 21.60 points to trade at 442.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 0.38% or 0.50 points to end at 131.20 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.03% or 0.20 points to 785.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.39% or 5.70 points to trade at 83.50 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 5.19% or 685.00 points to end at 12,505.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 4.79% or 620.00 points to 12,320.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 61 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.14% or 0.93 to $82.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.76% or 0.65 to hit $85.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 5.45 to trade at $1,967.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.74% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 103.64.
