Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.91% or 4.6 points to trade at 245.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.43% or 1.5 points to end at 106.2 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 1.26% or 2.9 points to 232.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 3.72% or 23.8 points to trade at 616.2 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.66% or 5.6 points to end at 204.7 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was down 2.59% or 16.8 points to 630.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 40 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.19% or 0.11 to $57.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.37% or 0.87 to hit $64.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.54% or 21.85 to trade at $1399.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.58% to 6.6512, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 96.915.
