Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 1.26% or 114 points to trade at 9150 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.26% or 3.6 points to end at 290.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.36% or 2.0 points to 553.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which fell 9.16% or 20.2 points to trade at 200.4 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.67% or 10.9 points to end at 285.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 2.68% or 8.8 points to 319.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 42 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.48% or 0.27 to $56.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.59% or 0.39 to hit $66.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.69% or 22.35 to trade at $1344.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.5757, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 96.308.
