Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.04% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which rose 0.13% or 0.4 points to trade at 316.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.07% or 0.1 points to end at 136.5 and Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) was up 0.05% or 0.1 points to 195.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which fell 3.88% or 17.3 points to trade at 429.0 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) declined 2.52% or 15.0 points to end at 581.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was down 1.41% or 5.2 points to 364.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 53 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.88% or 17.3 to 429.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.06% or 0.64 to $59.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.90% or 0.57 to hit $63.12 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.42% or 5.00 to trade at $1175.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.6238, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4577.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 95.15.
