Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 3.83% or 7.7 points to trade at 208.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.48% or 14.5 points to end at 599.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 2.24% or 16.5 points to 752.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 8.82% or 50.0 points to trade at 517.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 2.81% or 13.9 points to end at 480.9 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 2.32% or 8.3 points to 349.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 2.24% or 16.5 to 752.0.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.47% or 0.80 to $55.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.77% or 1.07 to hit $61.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.71% or 9.06 to trade at $1269.04 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.45% to 6.4123, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4434.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.87.
