Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.99%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 2.76% or 6.7 points to trade at 249.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 0.68% or 5.0 points to end at 735.5 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 0.26% or 0.20 points to 77.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 11.80% or 66.2 points to trade at 494.8 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) declined 5.02% or 18.10 points to end at 342.50 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 4.78% or 10.1 points to 201.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 37 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.28% or 0.15 to $54.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.33% or 0.20 to hit $60.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.17 to trade at $1278.47 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.3831, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4423.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.62.
