Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 2.27% or 11.5 points to trade at 518.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.41% or 5.2 points to end at 373.7 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.18% or 2.9 points to 249.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 7.12% or 860 points to trade at 11220 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 6.79% or 790 points to end at 10850 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 3.46% or 20.5 points to 572.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 49 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.31% or 0.18 to $57.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.79% or 0.51 to hit $63.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.33 to trade at $1275.27 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.4262, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4430.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.85.
