Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 1.58% or 9.8 points to trade at 628.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.45% or 9.0 points to end at 631.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.92% or 2.3 points to 251.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 3.03% or 11.80 points to trade at 377.00 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 2.20% or 7.3 points to end at 324.1 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.75% or 5.2 points to 294.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 46 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.58% or 9.8 to 628.8. Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) rose to all time highs; rising 1.45% or 9.0 to 631.0. Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to all time highs; rising 0.92% or 2.3 to 251.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.39% or 0.91 to $64.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.73% or 0.55 to hit $74.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1303.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.3199, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4454.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 93.53.
