Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.93% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.11% or 0.78 points to trade at 37.71 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.18% or 6.0 points to end at 513.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.87% or 6.5 points to 754.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 3.58% or 13.8 points to trade at 371.6 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.23% or 350 points to end at 10480 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 3.04% or 320 points to 10190.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 20 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 0.87% or 6.5 to 754.0.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.21% or 0.12 to $56.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.43% or 0.27 to hit $63.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.08 to trade at $1279.28 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.01% to 6.3802, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4404.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 94.44.
