Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.07% or 21.5 points to trade at 1060.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.47% or 6.60 points to end at 456.80 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was up 1.42% or 2.3 points to 164.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 4.67% or 22.4 points to trade at 457.4 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.22% or 3.0 points to end at 134.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.87% or 9.6 points to 503.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 58 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.67% or 22.4 to 457.4.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.18% or 1.48 to $48.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.24% or 1.26 to hit $57.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.30 to trade at $1256.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.5360, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4676.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 96.102.
