Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 4.33% or 10.9 points to trade at 262.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 3.14% or 8.7 points to end at 285.8 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.86% or 28.20 points to 1014.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 6.61% or 980 points to trade at 13845 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.58% or 11.4 points to end at 431.8 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 1.85% or 2.15 points to 113.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 66 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 6.64% or 4.09 to $57.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 6.45% or 4.17 to hit $60.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 11.75 to trade at $1726.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.72% to 6.2763, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4361.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.68% at 92.365.
