Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.88% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 2.87% or 5.7 points to trade at 202.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.48% or 5.30 points to end at 364.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.88% or 2.9 points to 332.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 2.42% or 5.80 points to trade at 233.90 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 2.30% or 7.8 points to end at 333.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.47% or 160 points to 10700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.26% or 0.17 to $64.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $68.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.50 to trade at $1339.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 5.9894, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4422.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 88.91.
