Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 4.05% or 5.80 points to trade at 148.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.85% or 15.50 points to end at 560.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.54% or 290.00 points to 11,690.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.76% or 6.85 points to trade at 175.20 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.14% or 7.00 points to end at 319.40 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.80% or 33.00 points to 1,799.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 63 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) fell to 3-years lows; falling 1.80% or 33.00 to 1,799.50.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.11% or 0.87 to $78.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.00% or 0.83 to hit $83.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.89% or 20.85 to trade at $2,328.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 105.10.
