Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.87% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 1.36% or 300 points to trade at 22440 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.26% or 300 points to end at 24020 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 1.14% or 9 points to 765 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 4.38% or 33.40 points to trade at 729.60 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 2.90% or 5.4 points to end at 182.2 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 2.19% or 53.0 points to 2372.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 64 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.38% or 33.40 to 729.60. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.90% or 5.4 to 182.2.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.24% or 0.19 to $79.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $82.03 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.05 to trade at $1790.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.5564, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4380.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 95.870.
