Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 0.77% or 22.00 points to trade at 2,884.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 0.27% or 3.00 points to end at 1,116.50 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 0.12% or 15.00 points to 12,410.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 4.15% or 8.40 points to trade at 194.10 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 3.37% or 13.90 points to end at 398.50 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 3.25% or 7.20 points to 214.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 36 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.77% or 22.00 to 2,884.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.55% or 0.44 to $79.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.52% or 0.44 to hit $83.50 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 18.70 to trade at $2,337.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 104.99.
