Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 6.04% or 12.00 points to trade at 210.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 5.47% or 5.50 points to end at 106.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 4.89% or 31.30 points to 671.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 7.64% or 229.00 points to trade at 2,770.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.76% or 410.00 points to end at 14,440.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.52% or 380.00 points to 14,680.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 62 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.17% or 2.38 to $77.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.13% or 2.51 to hit $82.61 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.00 to trade at $1,875.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 103.01.
