Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 2.46% or 11.00 points to trade at 457.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.43% or 226 points to end at 9520 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.81% or 3.9 points to 486.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 3.61% or 21.8 points to trade at 582.2 at the close. Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) declined 3.27% or 4.5 points to end at 133.1 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 2.24% or 7.7 points to 336.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 53 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.92% or 0.99 to $50.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.70% or 1.03 to hit $59.53 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 10.20 to trade at $1218.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.6124, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4610.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 97.363.
