Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.29% or 8.8 points to trade at 392.5 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.01% or 4.2 points to end at 212.7 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.20% or 8.5 points to 717.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 2.84% or 38.0 points to trade at 1301.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.35% or 5.90 points to end at 245.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 1.43% or 4.5 points to 310.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.01% or 4.2 to 212.7.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.07% or 0.51 to $48.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.18% or 0.61 to hit $52.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.39 to trade at $1293.39 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.34% to 6.3023, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4381.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 93.20.
