Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.44% or 3.5 points to trade at 103.7 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 3.12% or 216 points to end at 7138 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 2.24% or 2.5 points to 112.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 3.08% or 6.9 points to trade at 216.8 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 2.89% or 20.8 points to end at 700.0 and Genmab (CSE:GEN) was down 2.83% or 33.0 points to 1135.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 61 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.15% or 0.08 to $53.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.69% or 0.42 to hit $61.70 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1328.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.6404, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4675.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.132.
