Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 1.05% or 100 points to trade at 9664 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 0.43% or 3 points to end at 657 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 0.29% or 2.60 points to 880.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.98% or 7.3 points to trade at 176.1 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 2.98% or 2.86 points to end at 93.18 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 2.63% or 2.5 points to 94.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.29% or 0.55 to $43.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.30% or 0.59 to hit $45.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 2.05 to trade at $1980.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.01% to 6.2357, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4442.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.207.
