Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.81% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.60% or 7.1 points to trade at 450.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.24% or 4.0 points to end at 326.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.01% or 7.2 points to 720.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 2.34% or 8.90 points to trade at 371.90 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.12% or 208 points to end at 9588 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.86% or 170 points to 8990.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 56 to 53 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.60% or 7.1 to 450.9.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.56% or 0.37 to $65.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.01% or 0.78 to hit $76.54 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1302.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.3289, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4490.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.57.
