Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 5.33% or 15.4 points to trade at 304.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 1.97% or 10.5 points to end at 542.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.29% or 1.4 points to 492.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 4.13% or 250 points to trade at 5800 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.89% or 3.64 points to end at 90.00 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 3.76% or 25.80 points to 659.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 58 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 5.88% or 1.33 to $21.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 6.64% or 1.75 to hit $24.59 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.47% or 24.30 to trade at $1626.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.41% to 6.7362, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4624.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 98.990.
