Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which rose 4.22% or 25.50 points to trade at 630.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) added 1.33% or 12.50 points to end at 951.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) was up 0.87% or 3.80 points to 438.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 3.90% or 15.30 points to trade at 376.70 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.52% or 2.80 points to end at 182.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 1.23% or 15.50 points to 1,244.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 60 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.83% or 1.43 to $76.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.57% or 1.27 to hit $79.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.34% or 33.50 to trade at $2,525.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.79, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 102.58.
