Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 0.88% or 12.0 points to trade at 1377.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 0.51% or 1.5 points to end at 293.3 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 0.42% or 1.2 points to 286.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 4.95% or 10.0 points to trade at 192.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 3.30% or 274 points to end at 8026 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 3.25% or 3.4 points to 101.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 50 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 11.73% or 6.43 to $61.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 12.22% or 7.36 to hit $67.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 11.15 to trade at $1510.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.66% to 6.7866, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4666.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 98.192.
