Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 0.76% or 2.9 points to trade at 385.3 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 0.68% or 1.8 points to end at 266.2 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.56% or 1.8 points to 314.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 6.19% or 11.7 points to trade at 177.4 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.99% or 288 points to end at 9332 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 2.66% or 10.2 points to 373.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 42 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.20% or 0.14 to $69.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $78.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 8.80 to trade at $1197.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.4419, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4547.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 95.44.
