Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 1.08% or 6.2 points to trade at 580.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 0.26% or 0.5 points to end at 194.3 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 0.14% or 0.3 points to 214.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 4.33% or 11.5 points to trade at 254.3 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 1.79% or 3.0 points to end at 164.7 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.69% or 1.6 points to 91.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 37 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.79% or 3.0 to 164.7.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.21% or 0.64 to $52.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.11% or 0.65 to hit $57.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.35 to trade at $1506.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.8168, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4688.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 98.852.
