Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.39% or 345.00 points to trade at 10,525.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.30% or 325.00 points to end at 10,170.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) was up 2.03% or 16.00 points to 804.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which fell 2.14% or 14.00 points to trade at 639.00 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 1.51% or 48.00 points to end at 3,132.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.30% or 1.70 points to 129.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 56 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.62% or 1.85 to $68.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.46% or 1.83 to hit $72.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 25.85 to trade at $2,733.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 103.35.
